Mobile innovation continues at Thrings with Winscribe’s Windows Phone application
Embracing innovative technology is one of the ways in which Thrings solicitors has been able to continually improve the service it offers clients. The firm’s decision to switch from using Blackberry devices to Windows Phone – utilising the Lumia 635 and 930 – has given its large mobile workforce the ability to create documents on the move and turn around documentation more quickly.
With the successful roll-out of the Windows smartphone, Thrings wanted to further empower its legal specialists. Following a demonstration of Winscribe’s Windows phone application, the firm requested a trial for a representative sample of staff across a number of departments.
Users immediately experienced the benefits of dictating on the go. Fee earners enjoyed the flexibility of sending priority jobs to be transcribed on the move, while secretaries were able to start jobs faster and share workloads. With team members providing positive feedback and reporting improvements in productivity, Things opted to use Winscribe and soon began rolling it out across the firm.
Stuart Bush, IT Technician at Thrings, says: “We are very pleased to have a dictation solution which integrates and supports our other recent mobile developments. Our main aim was to enhance client services, and the Winscribe Mobile Application has helped us increase client responsiveness through faster transcription. The Winscribe team have been a pleasure to work with.”
Vladimir Teodosiev, Business Solutions Executive at Winscribe, adds: “Supporting our clients’ needs is a key focus at Winscribe, so it’s great to have worked with Thrings once again and seen the firm gain further workflow efficiencies via technology.”
